My Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board Certified Diplomate in San Diego, CA. I have been in private practice in La Mesa, California since 1987 (see my CV for detailed professional history). I am known for a no-nonsense, to-the-heart-of-the-matter approach.
This simply means I tend to be direct and have a long-practiced ability to get to the heart of a problem quickly. Separating critical issues from the irrelevant can save time and money.
My work as a counselor is based on the assumption that good character, accountability, healthy relationships, and balance create a foundation for a satisfying, meaningful life.

This integrated approach allows for safer and more comprehensive healing, particularly for clients dealing with complex trauma and addictive behaviors.
